95 F150 Manual Trans Rebuild Kit
I am going to be rebuilding my transmission and am looking for a quality rebuild kit. It is a mazda 5 speed. Also, what is the actual name of the trans? I beleive it is a M5OD-R2, but I just want to make sure. I am probably going overboard on this trans, but just want it all fresh. Looking to replace all bearings, synchros, and seals. Will do shift forks if needed. Any other info I need when ordering the kit?
Also, anyone have torque specs and any other measurements I may need?
Thanks for the info!

It would be real cool if you posted pics as you rebuild it. Definitely something I would watch.
I just buy junkyard trannys for $100 each, and save the old ones. I rebuilt my 4 speed with junkyard ones until I couldn't find them anymore and switched to the 5 speed.
Yes M5OD-R2.

I will be rebuilding the same transmission in my 96. There is a video from Southwest Gear that takes you through the rebuild process. It looks very thorough. I will get the video and see if they have the rebuild kit.
The rebuild will be done next month.
Other than pulling the transmission out it should be good job.
Chris.

trans is easy to pull in a 2-wheel drive... 4x4 is a tad more work and requires help of a friend unless you're real talented with a jack.... it's pretty awkward to pull on a floor jack and keep it on the jack.
