Default 8" coils?? help!!!

I have a Rough Country 6" lift on my 1996 ford f150, and i have 35's. But it sits way to high in the back for my taste, i've read that i can put 8" coils on it since it's a 6" lift, can i??

Sure can! Will need an alignment afterward but yes its doable. If cheap is your goal spacers will be cheaper for you.

Not always a good idea though. With my 6" lift, my alignment cams were completely maxed out.. And they were the most adjustable ones I could find. Before you waste your money on it, check to see how much adjustment is left.

What do you have for lift in the back? you might be better off lowing the rear, instead of raising the front. It would certainly be a ton cheaper.

how do i check how much alignment is left? and it has like a 9" in the back, a good 2 or 3" higher than the front, but i dont want to lower the rear unless i absolutely have too

Did you use the alignment bushings with the 6"? You wouldn't normally have to because the lift kit has the brackets to keep everything aligned, but when you only change springs you need the bushings.

The camber kit adjust how your tires sit. So there straight, instead of in at the top, and out at the bottom.
