These are clear coated rims so I treat them like paint: Wash, clay, polish, wax.
Sonax wheel effects is similar to Iron-X in that it's great at removing iron particles like brake dust. It's not necessary for regular use. Plus, it's pricey.

...And I make sure all my products are approved for 20" wheels.

I know vinegar is very good in removing stains in stainless sink and faucet.
Is vinegar also good in cleaning or removing stains in Platinum's polish aluminum wheels?

I don't have stock wheels but if anyone is running chrome wheels from fuel like I am I use Brasso to clean them. If they start to get pitted/corroded then Brasso will take it away and restore them to brand new. (And this is also what fuel recommended to clean the wheels as well) it takes some TLC but works great.

I'm not lazy, I have a newborn at home, so it's tough to find time to wash the truck. The GG HDWC sprays on easy, I wait a few minutes, use the wheel brush to quickly go over them, and I'm done. It gets all the nooks and crannies, and I don't need to get a separate wash mitt for the wheels.

Are the 20" wheels on the platinum model considered PVD wheels?

no they are polished aluminium. I was going to add in and ask what people are using for their polished Platinum rims. So far soap and water for me but I used a brush and shouldn't......

I think the Lariat wheels look much better than the ones on my Platinum, JMO.

I use Eagle One PVD Wheel cleaner.

Then to get any scratches out I use Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0. This is amazing and only takes light pressure and not much application to get them shiny as the show room.

Last, I wax with Meguiar's Gold Liquid Wax.

Agree with ScratchX!
I used a cone- shaped buffer attached to a drill for most of the tough work
