You're going to need something that takes power directly from the battery instead of the wires. I had the same issues. Check this out https://www.diodedynamics.com/store/...-kit-all-sizes Thats the wiring harness I used with that same HID. Hope that helps. Food for thought, next time installing a HID or LED make sure it works with the vehicle both off and on.

My suggestion would be to install the OEM light back if you have a trip and maybe if you want get the Diode Dynamic HID Kit, it's very nice but don't forget the relay, thanks to a member here, Magnitto for guiding me towards that. I know it's a pita taking it off and back on. I took it off and on 3 times in one night lol. I feel like I can write the manual for removing and installation lol. Good luck on your trip!

1) You should be using a relay as brendon said to get power directly from the battery. HID kits should NEVER be used without a relay and direct battery power. Your factory wiring does not have enougn juice to properly provide voltage

2) You MAY need a CANBus antif-flicker harness as well for your HID. Common in HID/LED systems. The truck will only be turning a relay on and if it does not sense something on the line, may throw trip the circuit breaker and stop the light from powering up... cutting your lights, as you are experiencing.

So it could be 2 issues.

I installed mine yesterday and like most everyone else, the aim was nearly all the way down. I got them up level with the stock lights (I had marked the wall before taking the others off), but the driver side is aimed WAY off to the left. I understand there is no horizontal adjustment. Is it possible mine is defective? The passenger side seems fine. I tried to take pictures but it was very difficult to get an accurate shot of what I'm seeing in person. I didn't think to take a pic of the high beams, but I got those adjusted where they need to be.

How so? The 2nd pic is facing uphill so it probably looks high against the garage door.

In the 1st picture on the dark road you can tell the driver side shoots up and to the left, but they're both equal height on the garage door from roughly 15 feet, plus I have a dark spot right in front of the driver. (hard to capture in the pic)

Maybe if it's uphill but you are parked pretty close to that garage door.

I'd check and make sure the lights are installed properly. You may have missed a hole that one of the bolts goes into. There's a ... we'll call it a "pin" that the headlights have on them that sits in a little hole...

I'm pretty sure it's right. When I put it into position, it "snapped" into place just like the passenger side did. And all the bolt holes lined up right, and the trim around it all looks lined up correctly.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm not running LEDs, but decided to try silverstar ultra's before I even put it all back together and they did not seem any brighter than the bulbs that came with it. This was a little surprising.
