2010 Ford F150 intermittent crank no start

The pump,fuse on mine has been circled with a yellow marker by previous owner.
Slot looks discoloured , so it has seen some heat.
My last no start several months ago had no fuse blown and unplugging and plugging in frame rail driver module restarted fuel pump. So like said before I replaced, $50 driver module. Problem part on prev generation of f150.
I wonder if I should relocate pump fuse. Never have heard of fuse cooling issues on any vehicle. Fuse box at top of rad should have lots of air flow, fuses designed normally for 2/3 rated amp load. I would guess more of a pump drawing too much current problem creating the heat. Fuse kit fix a cheap "solution" compared to dropping tank and changing pump in warranty mmm. My amp probe today shows 4.4 amps at idle , highest number load in start up was a flash at 10.6 , maybe in rush current load.
Even reving engine to 4k rpms only produced 4.9 amps on 20 amp fuse holder with our variable speed fuel pump. Excess load and heat is coming from where? Puzzling problem.

Ignition Switch Question
Hello, I am a new member and I own a 2013 f150 XLT with the 3.5 l ecoboost. I am second owner of the truck and have a question to the membership. I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing ignition switch problems with any of their trucks? Mine since delivery has not chimed when the keys are left in the ignition but the chime works when the headlights are left on and the ignition is off. I have also been experiencing problems with intermittent battery saver messages and have had to get the truck jump started recently. Any feedback would be appreciated. I had the battery load tested and the battery shop where I went told me the battery was still good.

Well, while out on errands this morning, I did stop by my local dealership. The TSB 15-0137 mentioned above does exist, and they gave me a printed copy. My warranty would have covered replacing it up to 76,000 miles, but I'm now at 88,000+ miles.
The part number in the TSB is EL3Z-14293-A, called a Fuse Relocation Kit. The price of the part is $22.56. According to the TSB, it takes 0.6 hours of labor to install, and the labor alone would be $109.95.
I think I'll just buy the kit and install it myself. According to the TSB, the instructions are in the kit.
BTW--According to the TSB, it applies to 2009-2014 F150s, not just 2009-2010.

They can pull up the tsb on their system with the number given, if they want to.
Relocating fuse is a minor fix. Suggest that if fuse overheats you might have to contact NHTSA national hiway traffic safety about the problem.
Car/truck companies are afraid of recalls right now.

2 questions, where does this kit relocate this fuse to? Also, should rhis be done as preventive measure before excess heat melts part of my fuse box? I have a 2012 Ecoboost both no issue this far. *knocks on wood*

The reason for relocating the fuse is that the OE fuse for fuel pump is a "Low Profile" type of fuse. The physical size and very small terminal contacts simply will not handle the load. The TSB kit relocates the fuel pump power fuse to cavity # F70 which is the "square" type fuses located along the front (of the vehicle) side of the power distribution box on top of the radiator. The original cavity 27 is disabled. A change label is provided to install on the PDB cover. The kit comes with a new "square" type 20 amp fuse. It was just a subpar engineering issue. Nothing is wrong with the pumps or relays.

Well the fuse relocation didnt cure it & so then I replaced the fuel pump module & haven't had any further issues.
The style fuse I used (because I already had the holder)
(A standard/regular ATO)
The stock fuse below
