I was told they are CREE chips and 40W 3600LM each bulb.

Hmm there is no information on the auction... they just post photos of a truck with them. Almost any LED headlight will appear great from the driver's perspective but it comes down to the quality of the light.
Do you have photos of the actual product so I can tell you if you are using a quality/decent bulb or got hosed and paid $100 for something that's worth $10? Did they have LED ballasts???
I've seen these photos the guys using before actually... I think it's from a forum member who got banned on this forum AND f150online.com come to think of it. As I remember seeing the road shots he has posted WITH that mailbox... same exact photo.
Looking at the specs it doesn't tell us much... 3600 lumen each bulb raw, that's 7,200 total which would be fine IF the bulbs are situated correctly...
Did they look like these by chance:
Those are a poor design which is why I ask and these style were very popular. And the specs say 4 bulbs... which is what those use.
He posts the UPC, which is 702597230159 but that search shows no info other thin his own auction.

I picked up a set of OPT7 to compare them to the bulbs we sell (which we call the XHP50/XHP70). I found the LEDs produced less light and the quality of the light itself was sub-par. Not made using very high quality materials. The fact that they include a resistor is nice, but it's a cheap resistor that will probably do nothing (you need a real high quality resistor on vehicles like a Dodge/Jeep). Felt like plastic as well... here's an output shot we did. For $25 less though I guess it's not a bad bulb for a few bucks less... but most of their positive reviews are paid reviews or folks were given free product in exchange for reviews.
A few people here made comments about how when they tried to return the OPT7 they emailed them begging them not to and offered them discounts galore not to return them and/or leave negative feedback. It's a known problem on Amazon with these "amazon brands" (brands that only sell on amazon and have a HUGE marketing effort to get fake feedback/reviews).
It's not a TERRIBLE product but for what they charge... I feel the pricing is way too high. I'd expect to see them around $50 or so based on the bulb quality itself and light output.

Yeah those are the ones... the material is not that high quality if it is aluminum they used as little material as possible. They aren't TERRIBLE as I said, but there are a lot better kits out there

As long as you are happy that's all that matters. There's LOTS of various products out there. Plenty for everybody to find the one they like.
Ours have a 2 year warranty as well in case ya ever need some more.
Anyway back to the topic at hand... the eBay auction... hoping the buyer can post some photos of the actual product he got
