Hello from Arkansas
I recently purchased a new 2025 Lariat, 5.0, 501A with BAP. My first truck was a 1971 Ford F100 with a 351 Windsor that I bought in high school in 1988. My first brand new truck was a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT. Since then I've owned a dozen other brands Toyota, GMC, Chevy, Ram. My truck for the last 7 years has been a 2018 GMC Sierra Crewcab with the 6.2, it's been my favorite truck ever, love the power and sporty feel of the 6.2 and it's been trouble free for 150,000 miles. Wanted a new truck but didn't want another 6.2 because of all the problems with the newer ones. I was afraid going "down" to a 5.0 wouldn't be as fun to drive as the 6.2. I'm pleasantly surprised, this "little" 5.0 rips and honestly feel like it pulls harder than my 6.2, not to mention the factory dual exhaust sounds great! The feeling in the driver seat is a lot different than my Tundra's, Ram, and GMC's, it a good way. So far I'm loving everything about this new truck, except the faux leather seats, hopefully they'll hold up better than real leather. I look forward to learning and interacting with other F150 owners.
