I've got a '17 F150 with the 2.7 and I'm wanting a chrome exhaust tip and looks like my pipe is 3'' and was wondering if anybody has used or knows if this will work Gibson Round Angle Cut Double Wall Exhaust Tip 3" Inlet, 4" Outlet, 12" Length thanks for any help I just hate to order one and it want fit or if there's a better option.

Sigh...yes it will fit. A tape measure would have answered this question quicker than you made this post.

I have the same Gibson tip in ceramic coated black. Yes, it's American made and will fit.

I did cut about 3" off my factory tail pipe because it looks better as you can't see the 3" pipe inside the new 4" tip, but you don't have to.

I put a black Fedar tip ($30) on my 3" exhaust pipe a few weeks ago. It's the same size you are looking at, 3" x 4" x 12". Some Amazon reviews said they couldn't get it to slip on a 3" pipe so to avoid aggravation, I installed it when the tailpipe was about 30° and had preheated the tip inside the house to about 100°. Was still a tight fit but didn't have to grunt it on.
