Damn. That definitely looks like not enough color. For example this was a silver fender that the young apprentice painter i had a few years ago, painted. Not enough coverage at the bottom as you can see

Got the word today from Ford. They're going to repaint the roof next week. Not sure how much of the roof but the affected area for sure.

Silver is difficult to match. GM had this issue with their Diamond Silver Metallic back in '09. Seems they painted the doors in a different building from the rest of the body, and they did not match when you put them in the sun. On a cloudy day, they looked fine. I know, I had a Trailblazer SS that needed to be completely repainted by GM because of this.

Any painter worth their salt will have no problem with UX. I paint that color about 3 times a month now, and I'm at an independent shop. A Ford shop prob does that color 3-4 times a week. At least thats how it was when i was at Ford

The Ford dealer here has no body / paint shop. They're subbing it out.

A shop they sub a lot of work out to, no doubt. If that shop does all their warranty work, they more than likely do as many Fords as a dealer body shop would
