Meh, Corvette > Mustang 😉. How about a 2018 5.0 F-150 with a Whipple dropped on for around 700 hp? Best of both worlds, except you don't get the pony car handling.

Well yea I agree with you I like the corvette better too but I’m sure a nice one is like 70-80 grand. I would but it’s not just the speed I want it’s also the sports car experience and 6 speed .

But you do get to sip green tea while talking about your latest beef with AARP with all of the other seniors who own a Corvette. :P

I don't quite represent that demographic just yet, and it's coffee not green tea. 😎 And I guess we could talk about the Mustang stereotype - don't know how to handle the power and crash out when leaving the local cars and coffee. 🤣

Mine is a fully loaded 2012 Centennial Grand Sport 4LT and yes, sticker was over $88k but I never buy new. There are way too many very low mileage garage queens that can be bought for half price at 2-3 years old. Wait for the C8 with 4.4 and 5.5 twin turbo, mid-engine for a real update.

If it wasn't for the towing capabilities of the F150.. I'd be in a Taurus SHO or Explorer SPORT (Most likely an Explorer SPORT).

Crappy end of the stick for me is the wifey doesn't like driving big cars. She thought my Explorer (2015) was TOO much!!!

I don't fit in the Ford Fusion (too small. I'm tall, not fat) and she thinks the Fusion is a bit big. I'm trying hard to get her into a Taurus or an Explorer..

That said.. I'm going to have to step it up an notch and get her into an Infiniti Q60

I'll soon be working from home - otherwise I'm 3 miles from the office. Girl works across the highway so a 2 mile drive for her. I'll never drive my truck except when we go shopping, camping, vacations or towing the travel trailer (if we buy one). So yes - I'm itching to get a fun car to drive around on them beautiful Oregon coast roadways!

unless they've resigned the interior of the taurus you won't have more room in that than the fusion. For being a full size car the taurus is ridiculously small... couldn't even fit my new born babies car seat in the rear of my 2013. Had no trouble when I put in the 2015 fusion we traded it in for. Also more side leg room in the fusion too.. I like to drive spread eagle I'm 6'1 & the taurus was a nightmare. Now we have three 2017s in our garage... explorer, f150 and mustang.

I'm thinking it's more so the seat placement and steering wheel placement that is making the difference.

I had a 2012 Fusion SEL as a personal vehicle. LOVED that car. Two years later I got a 2015 Fusion SE as my company vehicle.

I averaged around 1,100 miles a WEEK in my 15' Fusion. After a couple months I developed lower back pain. Progressively worse as time went on. Days I couldn't even roll out of bed because my back pain was so bad. Requested a bigger company vehicle for well over a years time and finally my doctor stepped in and gave me a reality check of what was happening to my body. I filed for a formal written request of reasonable accommodations due to back pain in my company car and was fired a few days later. Go figure.

Anywho the issue for me was my lower body was spread eagle like you said and my hips twisted to the side.

I didn't have this issue in my 2012 Fusion which I believe had FAR more interior room than the 2013 refresh.
I sat in a Taurus and noticed a big difference in how my body sat in the seats as well. Again I think it is more so the steering wheel/dash/seat configuration more so than just the length. I think a lot of factors play into a proper fit.

End of the day we'd like a car.. Just a matter of finding one that fits me. At this point she just has a nice car to/from work. I don't feel like we're getting full use out of the ownership of two vehicles. I'm still trying to work her on an Explorer SPORT tho lol I miss mine like crazy!
