With the stock suspension my set up (20x9, +12, 275/60/20) would rub if I hit bumps while reversing at full lock. I have since added 5100's at the 1.75" setting and no longer rub. Here is an updated pic.
The wheels I want are 20x9 with +18 offset... so I would either go with the oem 275/55/20... or the 275/60/20 upsized tire. Which is a 275/60 ok for a 9" wide wheel?

I wish 285/55/20 weren't so freaking expensive. I know its an odd size tire, but they are seriously like $100 more per tire over 275/55 or 275/60 it is crazy! I think 285/55/20 on a 20x9 wheel would be awesome, but I really don't think the 285s are worth the extra money!

275/60R20 isn't that much bigger in the grand scheme of things.. especially on our trucks with these huge wheel wells.

Not associated with them... but I just bought the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's from discount tire direct on Ebay for $516.00 for the set of 4 shipped to my door, no tax to CA. Couldn't beat that deal with a stick, so I had to order them instead of the 285/65R20's I planned on ordering.

Did you have to trim the studs to put the 1" spacers on or did they fir into the empty area on the wheel? I have an fx4 with the 20 wheels and would like to do the 1" spacer, 265/60 and mud flaps.

I would think with that offset that you shouldn't have any problems fitting the 275/60/20's. they will be fine on a 9" rim.

Sorry, was trying to reply to a message on here a few pages back but lost the quote. I've searched through the forums and it looks like some have to trim the studs for 1" spacers and some do not if the exposed thread happens to fall in to the void spots on the inside of the wheel. Trying to go with a 275/60/20 with the 1" spacer on the fx4 sport wheels. I know the tire will fit but just by looking at it, it looks like pushing them out much more than an inch could cause some clearance issues.
