I have a 2016 xlt. I've done the 8" cluster swap and enabled the gauge selection screen but when I select the turbo gauge it doesn't do anything. It displays fine but is not responsive. Is this because I have the 2.7. Is it only compatible with the 3.5?

The FORScan devs just sent me a test beta with the Cruise Control calibration service procedure included. If anyone here is ready to test this with their ACC mod, pm me and I'll give you this to test out and make sure it's working before I post the link here in the public area.

Thats awesome. I just placed the order for the parts and as soon as they come in and get installed, I'll ring you up.

Appreciate all the hard work!

TF, I though you said you didn't have the HUD plug - Were you able to find it?

I read the other thread where the non-Forscan user added ACC to his 502a and ran into problems with IDS.

What I didn't understand in that thread is if the tech package is needed prior to installing ACC.

I've noticed that Lariats with the tech package have the APA harnesses capped off under their fenders while non tech package lariats don't.

Yes, I know APA is different than ACC; however, I'm just thinking that like APA, trucks with the tech package might have most of what they already need installed.

Do you have any insight on this? I forget what trim your truck is.

From what little I researched, you dont need the tech package (360 camera system). The system is more or less independent of it (tech pkg) and really dont cross wires.

What *I* dont understand is the whole "coding your VIN to the ACC/CCM", and the whole convert the VIN to hex to plug it in. I know we're derailing this thread a little so I'll pose the question over there, but is the CCM really dependent on VIN and wont work without it?

It's real easy actually. Just put your VIN in here in the Text (ASCII/ANSI) section and hit convert button and use the hex values below: http://www.asciitohex.com/

So it's just a matter of populating the addresses in CCM that have to do with VIN with the values from the link above. PM me if you need help when you're ready.

Example: This VIN (1FTEW1EG5GFB26899) equals this in hex: 31 46 54 45 57 31 45 47 35 47 46 42 32 36 38 39 39

You need the correct VIN in CCM that matches your truck or you'll get DTCs and probably a non-functioning ACC
