Still not sure on the 3.5 or 5.0
I can't say that I am an expert on this sort of thing, but I have been reading several posts about bigger tires and gear ratios and I don't think you would like it with the standard 3.15. I have a 3.31 and I am already worried about how performance might be affected by added tire weight. If I could change one thing about my truck (that wouldn't be changing it from XLT to Lariat) it would be to have the gear ratio at 3.55. It might be $1500 bucks for Pro Back Up trailer, but it would be just as expensive or more to get the gears changed and it wouldn't be factory warrantied.

I have the 3.5 ecoboost and I really like it. However, I hear the 5.0 has more gratification when it comes to engine sound. I can hear my turbo whistle occasionally unless I am just driving with a lead foot for fun.

- in order to get the 3.55 gears, you have to add the Pro Trailer Backup assist which is $1465. Might not be worth it now.

- no place to delete the Platinum badge on the tailgate. Will have to make sure the dealer puts that code in when ordering.

I couldn't even get a 295/60 to fit on a 2.5 inch level. No chance you'll get a 295/65, or even close

I'm thinking the same thing. Might as well pay the money and get the 3.55.

I'm in the same boat right now. I'm thinking with a 2.25" level 275/60R20 would be about the limit that would fit without ANY trimming. I think if you're gonna go 34" tires you may need a 3 or 4 inch lift. Anyone else have thoughts or have a similar setup already?

Offset of the rims are what are causing rub issues. Stay with stock rims or same offset and that will minimise rubbing.

I noticed that the supercrew gets a 26 gallon tank standard for 2018 - is that new? I believe my 2015's standard tank is smaller

I think it was 23 standard, 36 optional for 2015-17.
