I wonder if the Raptor has the standard traction control setup.

I need to retract my statement a little, in the configuration I had the truck in (4x4 low locked rear) traction control would be 100% disabled. After reading this again I am not sure what was causing the issues.

Scan it and see if there are any stored codes....
Was it a hot day at the beach?
Looks like you sunk pretty good, and cut off some airflow under the truck.
I'm wondering if it got too hot and went into some sort of limp mode till it cooled off?

I've got the Forscan module plugged in. I'll see if I can pull something when I get to Marble Falls tonight, but any stored code may be gone unless the module will store it.

Didn't get any notifications about temps, nor were my temps abnormal. It was about 94 outside, sand was more than likely over 100* as it was difficult to stand on. I'm suspecting sand got somewhere it shouldn't have been and was interfering with some sensor. When I moved it could have cleared out, and then when the ignition cycled it would have reset the sensors being affected.

Y'all, the day was a success! I don't have pics right now other than the ones below. We had Emmanuel (a photographer with IB) riding along with us taking pictures of the events. This event was WAY different than any of us expected. The first part of the day we ran a few trucks down some trails that really weren't meant for trucks. The second part we jumped in to some Jeeps that were with us, which was a TOTALLY different experience. I'll post pics as soon as I get them!

So far I am loving them. I am in louisiana so mud is a thing down here. and they eat throw it like its wet grass. that last pic i was on some really hard clay and in a hole on a hill doing some manuevering around a washout. they did some spinning on the hard clay. I havent got them on rocks yet but they may not grip great. It is important to note though that I was running 30psi as it was mostly trails and gravel roads today. the pictures are the most difficult areas.

I went through a mud hole at the bottom of a hill twice and made it up the hill both ways with 30psi in the tires that a jeep rubicon had to be wenched out of up the hill backwords cause even with the lockers he couldnt get enough traction.

0 road noise and I went from 33" maxxis buckshot to 35" and gained 2mpg.

That actually sounds really good. Do you have 3.73 gears or 3.55? I know my truck wants to downshift any time I need to accelerate at more than a snails pace. I'm in SC so no rocks here either. I may have to look into those if they have decent mileage to them.

I have the 3.73 with the limited slip and a 5.4. I wish mine would down shift more than it does on the highway. I have to really get into it to get it to shift.

I have read on the reviews a lot of people saying they were getting 60k out of them. I cant tell any signifigant wear on mine, but I have only had them a month. the tread is deep though. it seems like it will take a while to wear it off.
