Were you planning on painting it or leaving it like this? It looks nice now, but long term I think paint would look better longer (unless you cleared it like this).

Cleaned my truck up from the trip to Manly Hotsprings last weekend today. It had some thick dirt all down the side of it from the 180 miles of gravel roads. Now, I just gotta clean the inside out.

I think I'll try a aluminum polish sealer . I may clear them down the road .
Got one more piece in the mail.
Had to mock them up . Yo

u can almost hear the whine !

Mine got a wash and wax on the outside, vacuum and dust inside and the motor got a new thermostat and gasket. After doing the intake gaskets last week I had a trickle coolant leak and traced it to this. Now this 183000 mile engine is sealed up and solid again. No more codes, no oil or other leaks. Looks like I can just enjoy driving for a while.

Cool! Now you just have to get the firmware modified to say "Ford."

I shouldn't talk, though. I'd like to swap in a Navi steering wheel for the radio controls.
I just want to see someone else's write-up before I dive in head first.
