Default Need opinions on new larger tires

Going to upgrade to larger tires and rims on my new 2017 2wd SCREW 3.5 Eco w/10 spd. Will also put on a 2 - 2.5 in lift. My driving will be mostly around town and some towing but we like to drive Forest Service roads when we camp. I've had good experiences with BFG AT KOs and KO2s as well as Cooper Discoverer AT3s on our Tacoma and 4Runner respectively.

I don't think I need a really aggressive mud tire, more like an A/T tire

I'm thinking about 33's or 34ish on 18 x 9" rims

What has your experience been with your larger tires?

Also, any pics would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Check out the Fitment guide spreadsheet in the first post here:

There could be some useful info to help you out.

My experience is in regular day to day driving they impact your mileage by 1-2 mpg.

Woodyc, I'm in a similar boat and am going with Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Seem to wear better.
