Also - does yours bunch up and twist a little bit before the tape? Appreciate your help.

No, mine is straight. They must have bent that tab when they removed it. A new one will fix that issue.

Thanks. The tab is fine...but it feels like the black thing (holding the wires) is twisted which is causing the tab to be crooked.

I'm going to play dumb (since it still works) and tell them it needs to be straightend and show a picture of yours saying I saw another F150 that was perfectly fine.

Awesome news!

Line-X paid for a detailer to clean my truck and fix the scratches. It looks brand spanking new. I'm so pumped!!!

Quick Question - I think the person who detailed my truck got a little smudge of wax/sealant on the plastic bed rail and it's a bit white.

Any suggestions on the best way to remove it?

Thanks!

Peanut butter will remove it. Actually, any similar oil should work. Meguiar's also makes a product that will work on black trim or rubber.

Just got Line-X installed today and noticed a HUGE scratch on my vehicle. I called them out on it and they said they didn't do it. They were only in the bed of the truck.

I told them that I just got this vehicle and that I didn't want to be rude - but they definitely scratched it. I'm taking it to the dealership this week to see what they can do...but do you think this can be buffed out?

I'm super bummed that my new truck was just scratched.
I just had my bed sprayed last week by a local Line-X affiliate and the owner walked the entire truck with me prior to any work performed. Very professional and yes I was worried about my first ever new truck being worked on a week after owning. Highly recommend Truck FX if anyone is near Orlando, FL.
