Meant to add these photos before.... I don't know how I missed them. (BTW, my truck needs a bath BAD. It's been raining and snowing this week, and it looks like crap)
Here is a comparison of the two together, just showing the extra beef of the Neapco.
This one is a little better view showing the better needle bearings, and cup seals on the Neapco's.
Thar she blows. One thing to remember on these drivelines is, you CAN reverse the ends. It is best to mark them as one and two. Just my public service announcement for the day, LOL.

You know, that first set you purchased is how joints were made way back when, 70's and 80's anyway. Was there a date on the box, wonder if someone dug those up. Anyway, the new ones look high in quality.
Btw, -thanks for pics, perhaps AK will post some pics some day lol

Raining here, stuck in the hose looking at travel trailers again. Got on a fifth wheel kick for awhile, I just don't like a lot things about them. Absolutely none have the layout I want, it's looking like I'll have to get one built. This is getting to be a drag. Sort of like the truck search. Spent a lot of time searching for perfection, finally nailed it, called on it and it was sold 2 weeks back, they hadn't took the listing down yet. That's on the back burner now. This kind of stuff tires me out too quick. The proof in that, I still have a 98 lol.

I had an outpatient procedure on Thursday that has kept me from doing a lot. I've been sleeping quite a bit the past 2 days. That damn anesthesia stays in your system for days it seems. I even slept thru the NASCAR All Star race, but was awake for the first one. lol
We've been raining the past few days. A couple times it was nice, but then I wasn't in the mood or whatever. It's suppose to get better on Monday or Tuesday, so I'll do the tune up then. Spark plugs, PCV, COPs and injectors. I figure why not do it all at once.
I think I've got a bad injector anyways and I only paid 36.08 (eBay auction, not buy it now) for the set of 8 fully reman'd 943 Bosch's, It was a no brainer. I'll have less than $200 in all the parts, so that is cheap insurance. I hold out buying until I get a really good deal, most of the time, unless I need something that day. I'm frugal (cheap) basically. I just don't short cut any corners if at all possible. Sometimes a "field fix" is necessary, but I take care of it right when it gets home.

Well guys, my beater Kia got some attention this weekend and a bunch of parts that are probably too nice for it. I replaced tie rods, inner and outer and sway bar links with Moog problem solvers. Definitely solved a nasty clunk from a worn inner, did the links just because I was there.
Also the power steering stopped working so I put a new pump in it, fixed that. And last but not least some Iridium IX plugs. Ones I took out were factory at 98k miles. Idles so much smoother esp with the AC on.
Oh, and had the windows tinted to 5% last week after some ******* decided to follow my wife around trying to get her to pull over with my 2 year old in the car. She doesn't leave without a pistol anymore either.
