Show'em Off!!! Post up 97-03 trucks!
Haha, we didn't have a mud law, but there was an old man that owned the power wash in town. He would chase us out of there with his dog and double barrel shotgun. Wouldn't let us wash our trucks off come Sunday. That's what that place is for right? Granted, the stalls looked a cow pasture when we were done. Can't really blame him, we got a kick out of it until realizing how serious he was.
Not like the kids running around throwing trash everywhere, or no way to easily get rid of leaves or anything else, dirty tires by $deity are bad!!!!!!
Anyway, height laws, and mud laws?! What the hell? That's awful! My *** would be in jail.
I'm still trying to figure it out, I mean seriously "OMG dirt will make the road dirty, what shall we do??????" "Lets make a law against dirty tires!!!!!"

The height law was fairly new when I had that truck. I couldn't run 18.5/44's. With 17/40's I was right there at max height. The truck didn't look as good w/smaller tires. But even then at the legal limit I was still getting pulled over if I left town. Didn't have the heart to lower it.
The height law must still be enforced. The big trucks around here that are lifted are all lift no tires which doesn't look real good IMO. When pulled over they measured the lowest part of the frame (under the cab w/Fords). I think it was 22.5" (?) max, -rings a bell anyway.
But yea, the dirty tire law is just goofy lol.
Probably some rebel bureaucrat that's had a well deserved lawn job or two in the past I expect. Hell, self cleaning tires would only trash 1/4 mile of road when conditions were right lol. Yea, sounds like someone went out of their way to push that one into law.

Bumper lowering brackets? 😂
They were trying to get him with part 3 of the law:
"(3) If the GVWR cannot be determined on a motor vehicle other than a passenger vehicle, the limitations for a motor vehicle having less than 4,501 pounds GVWR shall apply."
