This was asked back in 2013, but never really answered. I did notice that the Lincoln BW console is a nightmare in wiring. The changer and the navigation CD holder are side by side and all. Here is that link for you to look at.

I did notice that. A bit of a pain with the lack of space. The plug... isn't terrible. In my case, anyway. Though if you did try a full wire up...

Good lord, it definitely is.

I chopped the male end of the plug off from a Navi in a yard. I'm not planning to wire up everything at this point. Be too much of a hassle.

If I can get the Nav unit working, I'll take it as a win. Having these though... Makes it a hell of a lot easier to work with.

These Nav systems were pretty rare; from what I found out, only 7% of Navigators (when the option became available) came with it. Won't even get into the low production numbers of the Blackwoods either.

03 the navigation panel went into the dash and not into the console according to my research. That was a one year wonder from what I've found since you posted this.

I was trying to read the number off the one head and couldn't because of the flash. Could you repost that number so I can research it some more. I know it comes up to a remote unit, but the last half of it left me hanging. lol Thanks

Yeah, this part was a bit of a rarity for sure, lol. I honestly don't remember how I first found out about it. Just know I have for a whIle now. Here's a better pic anyway; much cleaner shot of the label.

Side note, but I decided to check what it would take to get this unit from the dealer for lols. Discontinued, but the part was a whopping $2,400!

Sadly, I should've known, or remembered about the production numbers about the 1st gen Lincoln's. I knew that 02 was the last year for gen 1 Navi's, so Blackwoods shouldn't have gone past the single 02 production year they had. Sort of assumed they were built in '03 with the 150's still having a full production year in 2003.
