Ok, so more of my items came in. I now have all ambient LEDs, though the large passenger dash side came in broke...see 2nd pic. called and they are ordering me a new one so i will just cut the slot and run the wire harness up to the location. Excited.
For anyone doing this mod AND upgrading their XLT to power fold mirrors, the required Lariat 22 pin door harnesses actually have the ambient LED light plug already in the harness. You will only need to pin the exterior of the door to connect to your self made harnesses. Nice lil surprise. 2 pigtails less that you have to buy.

Detailed install pics i can do. With this my install is rather straight forward as I have upgraded my 4 door panels to the Lariats....all the provisions for the ambient lights are already there, just pop them in. The other LED mods I will gladly share pics of.

Ahhhhhhh, I'm so jealous!!! I wish I could find some Lariat panels at an affordable price! Would it be possible to snap some shots of on of the panels showing where the lights go in the doors from factory? The doors are honestly the only thing that scare me about the whole process. It's not so much the cutting/drilling as it is the pinning of the wires through the door connectors. I'm not even sure of how to get those dang things out, lol....

Lol, yeah, as soon as they arrive. I got a great deal, about $180 each thru Fordparts.com. Not bad at all. Tomorrow and over the weekend I will be doing the footwell, front seats, both cup holders and a few other modifications..... will complete al 4 doors when the panels get here.
