I'm not TORQUE RACING but I'll take more tq in a pickup truck all day long. I could care less either way I was just stating a fact the TVS is known to make more tq. I sure hope you can tell one has 80 more tq by driving it. That's like saying I can't tell any difference in a 3.5 tt and the 5.0 truck, yes you can because of the more tq the 3.5tt makes and it's only what 20-40 lbs,I can't remember without lookin it up.
As someone who put a ton of miles (>168,000) on a heavily modded 2004 Lightning, I can tell you that SilverSurfer15 is spot-on with his assessment. Once you start making the power levels we are seeing with these blowers, a few HP or ft-lbs mean nothing - except to magazine racers and dyno racers.
A buddy of mine had an '04 Lightning as well. His always put a few more HP & ft-lbs down on the dyno, but when driving side by side, at any speed, my Lightning would get him every time. There's more to making power and delivering it than a dyno run shows.
Besides, like LTNBOLT said, once you start pushing for the bigger #'s being discussed here you will likely ventilate your block anyway.
