Default Painted / Smoothed F150 emblems!

I know this has been done time and time again but I wanted to share my results with everyone. I was tired of the RED appearance pack emblems on my 14' and wanted to change it up a bit. I bought color matched paint (Sterling Gray, U6) from automotivetouchup.com and went to work.

Removing the emblems and separating them was actually very easy.

I also went ahead and sanded the "texture" down to smooth them and i'm glad I did. The end result is below and I couldn't be happier.

My advice to anyone who's thinking about doing this... DO IT, it's well worth it!

Wow you did a great job! I am very impressed! Looks awesome. Close to stock with just a little difference, but doesn't look like some junky plastic spray paint job. Yeah I know I'm not a big fan of that look.

But yours looks great! Nicely done

Looks great guys!!! IMO, that's the way they should be. I didn't sand mine smooth, wish I had though. Thhat isn't a white outline on the fender badge, just a reflection.
