The little Ecoboost towed this 9K pound boat easily.

that's a sweet little trailer. I wish i had one like that, just for my dog and I.
I might add some amenities to my 14' bike trailer though.

In case you're interested, Jayco makes a similar trailer in a 17' version that has a cargo area in front of the trailer. Not sure what the weight limit on the cargo is but it might suit your needs. The things we like about the "hybrid" style is the beds are out of the living area so you aren't constantly having to put the bed away every morning. A 2nd bonus is you get a bit of that "tent camping" feel - you hear the sounds of the outdoors at night (not so great if your in a "parking lot" campground though).

That looks exactly like what I need early June next year. My Veterans motorcycle association has their annual conference out in CA. Plan is for the wife and I plus two more members to load up four bikes and haul them from IL to my aunt's house in Denver. Well drop the truck and trailer there for a week while we ride across the Rockies to San Diego. Ride back after the conference, load up the truck and trailer and head home. Nice set up. I gotta find something exactly like that.

Posted this in another thread, but I am just too stoked about how much work this old truck can do.
