The look great either way! I was thinking about dechroming my truck but honestly, the amount of money that it would take is unreal (go figure I buy the truck with "The Chrome Package"). I don't mind the chrome at all, I think I'm embracing it quite well (actually starting to like it)

It didn't bother me at all at purchase. Doesn't really bother me now but with black rims I thought I might mix it up a little bit. I'm not dechroming the entire truck but the badges and bumper will get some love.

My OCD wouldn't let me dechrome only half. Its all in or nothing for me haha A lot of people with half chrome half black dont do it right, theres a guy on here with a red truck very very similar to mine, that did the black wheels on the chrome package really really well! Looks great, but one of the few where i actually liked the outcome. It's tricky, my fear is choosing the wrong thing and not getting it perfect lol

I totally understand. By leaving some chrome I am just talking the door handles and grill (which already has some black accents). The rims I picked are black with chrome bolts so if I don't decide to black out they will look fine either way. My color is tricky cause it is Kodiak Brown. Looks black unless in direct sunlight.

Berty, you may have me sold, I want to see more cut offs shots in a bigger area, though lol. Lighting ****.

I would end up replacing the bulbs with these,
Amazon.com: Philips X-treme Vision +130% Headlight Bulbs (Pack of 2) (H7 55W): Automotive Amazon.com: Philips X-treme Vision +130% Headlight Bulbs (Pack of 2) (H7 55W): Automotive
. I swapped my OEMs fort the H13 +100%version and it was a night and day difference.

may just be my eyes, but t looks like your lights on low beam have some rotational issues.

but other than that, would love to see some night shots.
They do look good on your truck.

So it hasn't rained much, couple sprinkles here and there( no issues obviously ) but I pressure washed my truck the other day and actually decided to give the headlights a torture test expecting them to fail and wanting to see how badly they failed. I sprayed the pressure washer at them around the sides of them, in the nooks and crannies and guess what.... not a single drop inside. None at all, no condensation after the fact, no condensation in the mornings, still crystal clear.

Last night was the first night I drove out in the woods at night time where there was no other light out. The low beams are excellent even with just the halogens that come with it. Lit up quite a distance, far far better than stock reflectors with a sharp cutoff (that I need to adjust only slightly cause I'm leveled). The high beams are extraordinarily bright as well, again much brighter than stock as well. No complaints!

I guess if I had to complain about anything, the halos aren't tubes, they are a lens with a ton of leds circled around it. But that's far from a complaint, some people may even like that better.

Anybody have any other ideas how to prove these headlights are bad? I'm really trying to justify why they are dirt cheap but they continue to impress me with everything I throw at them.
So those are halogen bulbs inside projector lenses, correct?

Also, would you mind getting some pictures of the front of your truck with just the halos on and with low beams on at night? I'd like to see how that looks.

Thanks in advance!

Hey guys I'll try to get some more pictures tomorrow. I tried a couple times to get pictures of just the halos at night, but they are so damn bright they just end up looking like a giant blur on my camera. I'll see what I can come up with. I'll also try to find a flat wall to get some good cutoff pictures too. Yes they are halogen bulbs in projector housings.

I looked at the Spyders, they're a good bit more expensive and honestly I see them too often. I hear good things about them though, just wanted to try something different.

I was dead set on those spyders until you linked these. I'm glad you did. Ordering them once my paypal money is not held anymore. Paypal drives me crazy sometimes.
