The other day I threw my rolling 3 ton jack in the bed of my truck just to get it out the rain when I was working on something. Totally forgot about it until I jumped on the brakes at a red light this morning.... I just know there is a big *** dent in the front of my bed, I just don't want to look yet.

 

ouch... I'd be scared to look too; I'm sure that was a stomach churning noise as it hit

 

I should have been more upset but the thump lined up almost perfectly with this dude on the morning talk show let out the meanest fart ever. I'll probably check when I go grab my lunch in a couple minutes. I plan on doing LineX soon, do those guys pop the bed sides a little if its got a dent before spraying?

Just noticed the license plate tags on my rental expired early last month. Gotta take it back whenever I get some free time. Driver's seat is broken too. The release handle on the side just flops around. Seat back is stuck tilted forward. Does not move at all. Not very comfortable to drive. LOL

I'm really hoping my truck is done today, so I can just give this POS Fiesta back!

 

Replaced broken LED puddle lights with new version. Bought new CB (Bearcat 880) and a 4' firestik. Trying to figure out where to mount, thinking it will just be in the center console and wired to the speakers. And whip the front of the passenger side bed.

Also installed new bilsteins front and rear this weekend. Truck almost ready for the off road trip to at the end of the month.

 

If it's just the handle that's broke and the shaft is still good you could turn the shaft with some pliers to get into a comfortable position. A lot of times there's just a little ring that holds the handle on that you can pop out. My guess is the gears on the handle are stripped.

Worth checking into if you have to drive the POS for much longer.

And if the dealer renewed the plates and just failed to put the sticker on you will be fine, the cops can see that the plates are up to date in their computer.

Hopefully your truck will just be finished and you won't have to deal with any of that though.

 

Dents inside the bed??? Oh hell, that just adds character! They're a badge of honor for a work horse!

And speaking of work horse trucks, Lowe's has the large patio paver bricks on sale yesterday, so my Mom called and said I need 50, and 2 bags of potting soil to! Dodge Slayer to the rescue!

Miscellaneous errands, took mom to see my grandmother in the hospital and then for a relaxing cruise and snack break. Then went to check out another old age home, the current one has been quite good to my grandmother, who's not in her right mind, especially considering their lack of extra training, but I think she's starting to get afraid of the stairs down there.
