Yes i had weight distribution hitch.. I know I was in spec for tow capacity Just was pretty sure i didnt have weight distributed properly. Super impressed with the truck with the 5.0 platform though....

if your axle shaft was even a little bent or scorned were the seal mates with it, it can cause uneven wear which could lead to it failing. i would get a good look at the seal to see what part of it...

i had it disconnected for the 24 hours because i was doing the timing chains\kit works and found that it was easier to just get it out of the way. I did the relearn as well. letting it idle for 10...
