The speakers can be wired into the factory radio plug, theres 4 empty slots, pry it open and use a wiring harness adapter diagram to figure out which ones go where. no splicing in factory wiring...

I still have the original stereo, works fine, but it didn't have anything besides a cassette player. Plus the red backlighting and red interior go together pretty good.
