My 2013 Fx2 has a 2" ZONE leveling kit along with 33's. In simple terms: Yes your ride quality will be slightly worse than stock but it's not near as bad as anyone makes it seem. If you do decide to...

I have a magnaflow muffler on my 2013 Fx2 and it sounds great! At idle it is a low rumble and when accelerating it is very deep and semi-loud. Once at speed you can't even tell that any aftermarket...

5.0 beating a Raptor

So a buddy of mine owns a Raptor and always talks so crap about how fast it is and blah blah blah. Yesterday he raced me in my 2013 Fx2 with 33's, 2" leveling kit, 5.0, and 3.31 gears. From about...

Stock was only 30"

My stock wheel/tire combo was only 30" so I've upgraded 3 inches. I have yet to tow something with this setup but the power is still plentiful when I get on it. And yes my engine is the 5.0 also.

Are 3.31's with 33's a bad idea?

Get a 2.5 or 2

I wouldn't get a 3 inch because of the stress it will put your ball joins under. I have just a 2 inch level and they're already at an odd angle so I can't imagine another inch.
If I were you I'd go...

I went with the ZONE 2" because it's made out of a polyphthalamide material. (not metal, it's almost like an extremely hard rubbery material.) Here is a link to the one I bought. Supposably these are...

If you don't want to be noes high then for sure just go with the 2". And like the previous poster said, the more lift you go with the faster your front end components will wear out.

I'm pretty sure I was 37" in the front and 39" in the back. So with the tires and level I earned 1" in the back and 3" in the front.

If you go with the 2" leveling kit I'd get the 33's for sure.

If your truck is 4wd and you don't add the level then you may be able to fit 33's but I'm not 100% sure. If it's 2wd then you...

You will not rub with 33's and a 2" level. That's what I have and it works perfectly. If your rims are some extreme offset then you may rub but if they're close to neutral you'll be fine!

From the ground to the bottom of the middle of both fenders (front & rear) is exactly 40 inches. The 2" leveling kit made it dead level.

If you get a 2 inch level on a 2wd/4wd 33's will fit without a problem. I have a 2 inch and 33's (2wd) and it fits and looks perfect. 35's will not fit a 2wd with a 2" but they should fit a 4wd. I'm...
