Your kidding

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. You have replaced the OEM incandescent bulbs in a standard OEM headlight housing with LED bulbs in the same housing with no regard to having to...

I do not believe the 2015s need a projector because they were designed not to need one. A retrofit on the other hand does not have that luxury.

Perhaps I missed what year your truck is. I could...

Don't Do It

Perhaps this thread is NOT about utilizing non projector housings. If not then you are making a big mistake.

Look at the pic of the foglight with the HID in it. It is glaring even in the daylight....

Guilty

I do not think the intent was to beat you up, but to point out the short comings as they relate to leds in halogen housings. It really would not matter to most here if this did not effect oncoming...

Not certain what year truck this is on but if this is a HID light added to a headlight without any way to focus this greatly increased output, you will have nothing but a glaring headlight to all...

Hate to jump on the band wagon here but the comment about these no longer being foglights is probably true. Without actually seeing these in person it is difficult to know for sure. I have seen far...

had not heard of this until you mentioned it. After reading the thread it does not sound like a real viable alternative based on the feedback there. Sure wish it was.

Not so fast grasshopper

While I do agree that the VLEDs are far superior, you can get hyper flash with them as well. I have all four of my incandescents in the tails replaced with the VLED's, great results I might add. I...

Best tail light led replacement

While I like this new led tail assembly, for a little less you could keep the OEM tail assembly and replace the four OEM bulbs with VLED V3 LEDs. These LEDs are unlike anything I have run across in...

Certainly can do it yourself, but look closely at the thread that details out what one person is going through to do it right himself. I have had a set of headlights retroed by another company. Just...

I replaced the 3rd brake light as well as both cargo lights with led's. The only issue I have encountered is that one of the cargo lights had lost about half of its brightness. Interestingly, when I...

Still on my 1st pair with all but one still working. I did have a time when all but only 4 were working when it rained for almost two weeks, but they dried out and are working again.

Hate them!

I have become very tired of hearing about all of these people attempting PNP HID's in OEM housings. I realize some just do not realize what they are doing, but the results are the same blinding glare...

Nice custom turn signal project you have here. It takes a little bit of guts to drill into those side mirror housings. Have to hand that to you. I also like the placement on the wheel wells except...

Still wish I had the ability to take the S/W out of the equation when dealing with what used to be a simple problem. Oh well, no easy solutions for me.

Most here are probably not going to agree with what you are trying to do. We are all pretty dead set against HID's in non-projector housings.

Factory housings are not engineered for hid, which is...
