Yeah I took a little sand paper to the end of it, and got it in. It wasn't too bad once the paint was filed off. Still fit tight though. Thanks for the input guys.

So I just finished up the Camshaft phasers, timing chains, guides, tensioners. Also replaced the VCT Solenoids. Truck is a 2004 Ford F-150 5.4L 4x4. 163,000 miles.

3M Adhesive decal removal wheel, you can google it, It is round and goes on a drill. It is rubber and you won't hurt your paint....

Take your truck to an autozone along the way if there is one. They will test the alternator for free and no need to remove it from your truck. Will only cost you 10 minutes of your time.

Debating between a 4" or 6", leaning towards a rough country.

I wouldn't imagine any issues with OE parts. As far as what I did, I used Dorman phasers and the timing set came from a local advanced auto parts. All seemed well but I sold the truck not many miles...
