That's a great idea. I'm going to do the same thing for my Mustang because it holds 6 quarts of oil too. It's always that 6th quart that messes up the 'cheap' oil change when you buy the 5 quart jugs...

Yep, my new rebuilt alternator I changed last year in my 1991 had a pulley. As a matter of fact, every alternator I've ever changed in my life has come with the pulley installed :)

I buy the 5 quart jug too. Its the single quart that cost something like $7 and the filter for almost $7. With tax added, the oil change cost a little over $40 :(

I have a 3.7L in my 2011 Mustang. I've never seen anything like it. Low 13's in the quarter, barks tires in 2nd gear and chirps 3rd gear with an automatic transmission :)

I change the oil in my Truck once per year. Last year I only had 500 miles on the oil but changed it anyway.

Today I changed it without looking at the miles but I always change the oil in June...
