I agree, I'm much more concerned with valve coking and timing chain wear than turbo failure. Though a valve cleaning every 100,000 isn't nearly that expensive. $500-600 unless you pay Ford to do it...

Funny thing. Turbos are about as reliable as sunroofs (guaranteed to eventually fail, generally good for 100,000 -150,000miles or 5-10 years) and cost about the same to replace. +/- $1500.

365hp is on 87 octane, it does have a few more on 93. But it is rated on 87. Unless it is in a Lincoln.

With vvt, you should run premium on the 5.0 towing as well. It helps.
