It's very easy to change the locks in the doors. I did when I bought my truck. Probably be cheaper than whatever a locksmith can do.

A standard transmission doesn't have a torque converter it has a clutch and flywheel. Just make sure everything is unbolted/disconnected, support the transmission from underneath and pull it apart....

I wouldn't think they'd need to be torqued just get them in till their tight. As far as anti seize I don't know, I live in the south where things don't rust.

Mine did the exact same thing, the plastic gears...

Mine did the exact same thing, the plastic gears inside the motor had disintegrated. You can rig it temporarily but it's a better idea just to replace the motor.
