    Nope, no noises coming from the rear(knock on wood). A clunking sound is usually the u-joint, not a bearing or transmission. The whining sound would be something like a bearing would/could make. I am not a mechanic, just work on my own vehicles because I can't afford to take them to the shop.

    Hey dewman, nice truck, looks familiar. Was wondering if you've had any problems with your rear end, mines whining and if you step on the gas its cluck wicked, Think it's the pinion bearing but the cluck sounds like it's at the tranny. Have a good one
