Well, as of right now I'm actually just saving up for my new powerplant. I'm going with a 4bt Cummins. I wanna lower the compression and run gobs of boost so It's just a waiting game there. I've got the dough to get one now but I'm still shopping. My 302 is punched over, has built internals, headers, a big carb and a hot ignition, but it runs hot and it getting a little tired. And I've always fancied diesels. I'll be swapping out a 500lb gasser for a 700lb diesel though. So actually prerunning will probably not be realistic. What inspired your build, though? It's a very unique truck. I've never seen anything so... BEAST!

Monster Pre, you still come around? I'm building my 87 up and it's build is heavily inspired by your Prerunner MONSTER truck! Im getting parts and staging equipment now, but have been looking at your pictures and watching your videos for about 2 weeks. Oh, and my company just switched to PPG paints! And we've got the envirobase water base coat! Boom! You predicted my future ha ha. Anyways, if you are still around, I've got a few questions.

Waterborne is the Shiz dude! PPG is some good stuff. I remember before our shop made it big, we used to shoot all kinds of stuff like PPG and Dupont. Glasurit is what we use now.

Oh hell yea man! I grew up in a body shop. Nothin like some fresh paint. It's so accomplishing because it's the last step of completing your ride. We use 90 line Waterborne. It's the newest of the new. My dad has one of like 4 shops that run the brand new system in the whole golden triangle/ lakes area of Texas. They recently had an expo and meet and great in Houston Texas and my dad met Chip Foose! All for this badass paint we use that uses no solvents!
