    Hey muddymallard;

    well, the tires definitely have taken a toll on the mileage. I am getting between 11.9 to 12.5 mpg with everyday normal City driving (which means modest acceleration, keeping up with traffic, the occassional WOT to pass, etc.). The best I have seen in town is 14 mpg but only if I drive like a little old lady which totally defeats having all that power and greatly diminishes the fun to drive ratio (not to mention that it pisses off the other commuters behind me...lol). In all seriousness, even before the mods I was not getting anywhere near the hype, especially with the Highway mileage. The speed limit out here on the open road is 75 mph and my mileage drops like a rock at or above that speed (again, 12 to 15 mpg). At 65 mph, I have gotten a high of 16 mpg.

    how has the ecoboost done with the larger tires and all? I know I usually do intake, exhause and program my truck to counter the over sized tires but I know there is a bit of a scare to do that with the turbos

    Yeah, I thought about that too except the two-tone (with the gold) isn't as sporty looking as the FX4 two-tone. But I had a two-tone King Ranch and it looked great once I was done modding, so the new Lariats with the painted bumpers to match look pretty good too.

    I may just go with the lariat bc you can get a few two tone colors although the white and gray isnt a choice

    Thanks. I actually toyed with the idea of painting the lower portion/bumpers gray if I ordered a new FX4.

    Mine was a 2009 and the two-tone was an option. Unfortunately, Ford does not allow for that option on the 2011 FX4s. I wish they did as I thought the lower gray tone paint looked great on the FX4s.

    damn you have the exact truck I wanna get except minus the 5.0. The problem I ran into is that I cant get the FX with a two tone. Do yours come from the factor with a two tone or what bc i cant seem to find one now
