Hey there, I'm close to doing the electric fan swap and would like some feedback before pulling the trigger. I have a volvo fan and controller from the junkyard (the fan is the same as a Taurus). As far as mounting the fan, I was looking and thought mounting the fan on the end of the factory shroud using L brackets would be the cleanest. Would the fan operate effectively that nine inches away from the radiator? My thought is to get even flow from the whole radiator. Thanks for taking the time to help out!
edit: I forgot to mention, I have the 5.0 so I have tons of room up front
