By the way, I highly recommend the ride-rite airbags if you don't have them. I've been towing and hauling with this truck since the day I bought it, and the bags were definitely one of the most useful upgrades I have made, along with the mirrors. My first set of 35s were worn on the outer edge because of driving with the back sagging all the time. Rotating them just got them all worn. $250 and a couple hours (less if you have the right tools) and you have a fully adjustable air bag system that doesn't affect the ride or height when empty. Definitely a worthy investment for a work truck.
Ah I got ya. Yeah I guess mine was custom built or something because it has the work truck package (if there is such a thing) - vinyl everything, manual everything, tow pkg., etc., but also has cruise control and cd and tint, all factory. Is yours actually used as a work truck, or just getting to and from there?
Nice truck man - big up to the stylin work truck. Our trucks are very similar, or at least they were when they came off the line. You have full vinyl/rubber interior and 4x4 on the floor? Cruise control, cd player?
Combination of things.. The intake gasket was bad which I had no idea about.. which was causing damage to cyl. 8.. but what blew it was when the exhaust valve spring broke on cyl 4. and smacked the piston.. damage ended up being done to all 4 back cylinders so I just bought a new motor.
