Hard to tell on the MPG, but I would certainly say it's dropped off. Maybe as much as 2mpg. My computer was off because of the tire size still so I'm not sure, but it seemed like it used a LOT more gas on this trip.

I just returned from a tank long trip out of town. There is a definite trade off in highway ride. It's not horrible by any means, but it's not totally silent and smooth like the stockers. The wheel & tire package feels heavy and seems to take a little more pedal to keep it rolling. We have identified the "rubbing" as traction control FOR SURE. The tuner I just got will turn of the TC completely, so it doesn't reset every time you start. But there is something glitchy in it that's made worse by the larger wheels/tires.

I really like the look and mine should hopefully be in this week. The tire place said they would mount one on 305/55/20 and one with 295/60/20 so basically one 33" and one 34" so I can look at them and see if I like them. I drive about 80 miles round trip so I am really leery of the mileage drop. I do think the 294's fill out the wheel well a lot better.

Let's put it this way, I'm not selling my stock alloys just yet! If it becomes uncomfortable or or really does affect my mileage I may go back to what I had. The stock tires are just so quiet & smooth it's crazy. But the look of the truck NOW is definitely upgraded.

That's a good question. I haven't had it long enough to tell yet. What I do know is that my computer shows I'm getting 10 mpg now and I was at 14-15 before. My speedo is off like almost 6 mph slow at 70 mph (my true speed would be 76 mph). I have 3.55 gears. I think the computer thinks it's going slower than and less distance that it really is, but it's using the same amount of gas and thus screwing it up. Lets put it this way, if my mileage dropped that much...the wheels are coming off! The terra grapplers are super quiet for that style of tire, just a very slight hum over the stockers on the highway. It does seem to have zapped a little of it's quickness, probably the higher ratio of the larger tire. I also notice on the highway that the wider tire will "track" a little more on the more worn in asphalt lanes where there are slight dips in the road. I LOVE the way the truck looks, it's aggressive, but not crazy yeahoo looking, like it could be a factory option.

It sounds like you may have the +30 offset. Have you seen much a difference in MPG with the new tires?

hmmm...I'm not sure on the offset, I know we talked about it. My buddy got some different MM wheels and his stick out just a tiny bit more than mine. I don't have the fender "flairs" and mine look about like his but he has the flairs. So my offset is less. I can go full lock both way with no issues. I drove it all day yesterday and never had the traction control thing ever. So who knows.

Dirt Rider that is the exact same set up I have ordered except mine are going to be chrome instead of black. Have you had any rubbing issues with the them? Also what offset did you go with +18 or +30
