I read you have ready lift keys,, what did you do about your control arms?? My bump stops only have 1"space,, rides fine but when a hike comes and my tire stops it slams hard,, you truck fit a sick stance

Ya.. you can rent the torsion key tool or torsion bar tool? at Autozone or somewhere and I saw keys on Craigslist today for $50.... I have the $300 Readylift keys... but I'm starting to think it's nothing special... And especially if you arn't offroading hard or anything then the cheap keys should serve their purpose.

I've heard they arn't to hard, but I've heard some people have a bitchin' time trying to get them in. I know you need the torsion key tool.... I had a shop put mine in, shouldn't of done it, cost to much... shoulda had my uncle or someone help. But yeah, go for it if you want!

You don't care if it's level? Do you mind the front rake? I hate that. just my opinion though..

I'd look on craigslist or ebay for the 2.5" leveling keys... install that, crank it up and see how you like it. Then decide whether you want a 1" AAL or 2" AAL.. or blocks.. Cause alot of guys do the 3" lift and its the keys then 3" block? And it's not level and the front sags like 1" or so...

No No. You can get like 2-2.5" out of aftermarket keys.. but you really don't want to! It will max out the bumpstops and you will have no travel. And it WILL be rougher.. If you can crank stock keys to level your truck and be happy then go for it. But if your wanting to do an AAL or 1" block to make it higher in the rear.. you'll have to get aftermarket keys for that extra 1" to make it level. If not your nose will sag a bit..

Naa. I've snapped my cv axle, but that was probably cause my keys were MAXED out and I was offroading hard...

I just wouldn't max them out and don't romp it hard and it should be fine.. balls joints will wear out either way so don't worry. And when maxing the keys out it lessens the up travel and we already don't have much anyways. I say go for it if you really want that extra inch or so.
