So I was looking through the threads and I saw you had a pre 7/96 f150. I bought some headlights for mine (5/96) and they have the wierd mounting bracket issue too. I was wondering if you ever solved that problem, and if so how? I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks.

did you cut off the push pins holding that piece on or squeeze em out?

did you have to remove that black plastic under the hood, that covers the radiator to run the wires for them grille lights?
