    Hey there, I saw the post you made a year and a half ago for mounting an iphone with proclip. I just bought a CPO 2012 F150 yesterday, and want to mount my iphone exactly the way you did. I'm brand new to the F150 dash area and Ford Sync, all I did so far was bluetooth sync my 6 plus.
    I wasn't even aware of the dash tray. I'm assuming you used the hardwired proclip mount, and spliced it in to a USB cable underneath? -or was there an auxiliary USB port already accessible there that you could just plug non-hardwired version into? -and does that tie into FordSync?
