That's great, the Platinum's are great looking truck's and that Ruby Red is a knockout color. Power step's are standard so that's a big plus also. I think it would look great under the Christmas tree, if possible!! Sound's like your wife has great taste in truck's... Don

I know what you mean Jim about the good women, I've got one too. I actually worked a little today, had to go to 4 locations and take pictures for my daughter's insurance agency. 2 of the locations were in Grand Isle which is the only inhabited barrier island in Louisiana and was the home of the pirate Jean Lafitte and his men in the early 1800's. One house I took pics of dated back to 1870 and is on the oldest part of the island. The island is kind of like a Cajun Key West but was hit hard 2 yrs ago by the BP oil spill. I managed to take my truck on the beach at Elmer's Island for a short spin on the uninhabited island to use the 4x4 for awhile and then headed home which is only 55 miles away. Anyway Jim enjoy your next trip and looking forward to seeing the new Lariat when you get it. Don aka PawPaw way down here in Cajun Country!

The leveling kit hardly has any effect on the fuel mileage, maybe 1/4 mpg less at highway speed's. The tires on my truck at 73 lbs ea. drop the mpg about 2 mpg so they're the real culprit. Congrat's on getting permission from the "Boss" to get a new Lariat for your 60th and welcome to the old fart's club! I'll be 65 at the end of Nov and my birthday is also my anniversary (43 yrs) this retirement is killing me, cooking at a golf tournament Friday then going to the City of Gretna, La. festival Saturday to see the Spinners, Temptations and finally Joe Cocker and topping it off last night by going to the Saint's/ Charger's game at the Superdome. Still beat's working!! Take care, Don
