Ya but I don't think I have the knowledge to even attempt it....... I might just have a mechanic do it for me. If I had someone to help me along then I could learn, but I'd give up to easy and get pissed if I couldn't figure it out....

Damn bro, me and 1996 Redneck F150 have kept this forum alive tonight.. check out the say something about the person above you and the music thread LOL. 1,000 posts I have now.

And they say if you crank your torsion bars it will put the cv joint at an angle. But that's why you get aftermarket keys.. but I guess it still puts it at a pretty hard angle.. Sh!t son.

The shaft is at that angle on the other side too.

And how hard is it to change the boot you think? I don't have all the tools I don't think?! I'm not going to Sedona in the morning cause I didn't wanna **** with breaking something. I'd like to see about fixing this myself, but if I have to take the whole cv joint out to replace the boot, is it something I can do without special tools?! If I take it it off and have it apart and can't get it off or get it back, it's going to be ****ing out in the open for all these little High School pricks to **** with it.

that looks like more than the boot is broken, they shaft should not be comming out of the diff at such an angle, almost looks like the shaft came out of the diff, but that would be an oil splatter, not grease

Well bro. I had this weird sound from my 4wd shifter.. My buddy mentioned maybe my transmission mounts are lose? But I don't see anything.. and while I was under there.. guess what? I see grease ALL over my a-arm and cv joint and ****. Shocks everything.... Freaked out. Other side is fine.. I looked up cv joints and maybe it blown. But I found this website it says that if you see excessive grease on the a-arm and cv joint ect ect it could be a torn cv boot.. How do you replace just the boot and where would I get it? Is it easy? ****. I gotta drive to Sedona tomorrow to get this boat and drive back.. so 5 hours of driving. I was going to offroad but if my boot is torn, I don't want to get more dirt in it than there is........ Here's the link.
