Well PawPaw, when I said I had a good woman, I underestimated how good. I was messing around looking at new F-150's, and came across a Ruby Red Platinum. I pushed the computer over, and said look at this. She looked, and ask what's the difference. So I opened up side by side screens with the R.R. Lariat, and the Plat. and described the differences. Then that woman said, "I like the Platinum better, what the price difference" I told her about $2000, and then she said, "You can't take it with you, get the Plat if you want it". Damn near fell off the couch. So, guess what......

Thanks for the info. brother Don. The Wifey is a good woman, even after living with me all these years. I know of what you speak about retirement. We just got back from a western trip to the badlands, went to Gatlinburg last weekend, and heading to Myrtle Beach the end of the month. I'm gonna be so tired we are going off to Orlando the first of Dec. to rest. I had a guy tell me the other day he didn't like retirement, I told him he just wasn't doing it right. Enjoy the golf tourney, Jim

PawPaw, momma has given me premission to get myself a new Lariat for my 60th. What a woman. I see you have yours leveled, which makes it look so much better. My question is does the level impact the gas mileage. I wouldn't think it would, but these things are kinda sensitive to change. Thanks my friend. Jim

Nice truck! I also have a 2011 F150 Lariat 4X4 Screw, 5.0L (same color except no accent stripe on bottom) I'm thinking about getting the 305/55/20 Terra Grapplers as well. Was wondering if you went with the XL 120S or LT 121S tire? Also, do you think they would fit without a 2" level and if you don't mind me asking - what leveling kit did you use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again , love your truck.

I love your truck PawPaw! Of course, I'm a bit biased since you and I have the same truck, color and all, except yours is a 4x4.

PawPaw I want to get the same tires on my 2008 Lariat, I have stock 20" rims with factory 275 55 R20 tires right now. I want to now will the 305 55 R20 120 S tires fit without rubbing? Thanks for the info.

There is one tree on the spillway that works for shade. Sadly alot of people use it when it gets hot. It is wide open, lots of trails, and water. Some deep water if you are not too careful.

Thanks for the info! I think I might have to go with a set of those myself. They have an aggressive look, but seem to provide a good ride as well.
