if youre doing offroading you should have def got a 4x4, but i understand being young and low on funds. things that will help would be some all terrain tires, a small lift kit. even a body lift. there are cheap ways to lift a 2wd such as coil spacers in the front and blocks in the back. but a rear locker would make a 2wd as good as a 4x4 without a locker on easy trails. but lockers are pretty pricey. I would start with a body lift and a good set of tires. As for the bedliner on the rims, it might peel. so i would (assuming they are aluminum) chemically prep the rim and paint them.

Kumho's are awesome so far. You will love them, great in the rain and In my opinion that is some of the worst driving is in the rain. I work as a volunteer firefighter and we always have the worst wrecks in the rain and in the snow. The Kumho KL71 performs great in both. I had them in the mud once and it pulled out under very little engine power. You could say I almost idled out of the mud as I didnt want to make a huge mess out of my truck. It was 9 degrees when I got into the mud and wasnt going to be able to clean my truck for awhile. I help my family on a farm and muddy fields are a big deal when you have to get stuff done so it seams like this tire will work great for me. Now I just want to see how far they will take me.

Hey man, My winch set up was about 1600 bucks for the winch, the mount, and a new optima battery. Its a 12,000 lb winch. It has worked great for me. I did burn the motor out once though cause it was submurged. It was my fault. They gave me a new one under warranty though. It has been able to get me out of everything i have gotten stuck in. The winch is a Mile Marker SI12000 and the mount is the Mile Marker extreme mount. I may be getting a new bumper in a few months. I told fx-all-4-me the could have dibs on the mount but if he doesnt want it i can let you know.
