Lower is mounted to the Reese and frame, middle is bolted to the bumper right by the bumper mounts.
If you look at this picture from my deer incident, you can see the L bracket coming off the bar to the bumper, the bracket is 1/4" steel
I'll see if I can find another picture, or I'll just have to take one tomorrow.
