For some reason I see the solid axle swap as being more work but if it works out for you than maybe it could work for me. Either way I call first dibs on some parts if I decide to go the oem way. Let me know what you find out on yours and you should def start a thread this way i can figure out which was is more practical since both of our trucks are our daily drivers.

Hey man sorry to hear about ur truck getting f'ed up but I think the SAS is a great idea for you. If you dont have any plans with your old front end id be interested as I wanna start my 4wd conversion soon as well and since you dont have much need for some of your old parts I thought id take em off your hands lol. My main issue right now is making brackets to hold in a front differential but my truck is sitting 8 inches higher than stock so I would need some kind of combination of drop down bracket and stock bracket since my 2wd has nothing in that spot. Keep us all posted on what you do and I love your truck.

It may be because the guys here said that their suppliers were having trouble getting in touch with Interco. But I found some 40/13.50 r18 Yokohama geolander mt+' s for a good deal so that's what I am gonna order tomorrow... I am also fabing a dual shock kit for the front of my truck to keep those big tires steady haha

Good to hear... I was talking today about tires and as far as 40's and bigger, most major brands have been slashing sizes due to the economy, but I don't think SS will ever cut the big sizes! But yeah I will have them balanced and aligned when they are put on. Thanks for the info man

Hey man, I was wondering how your Iroks are wearing/riding? The 40's I found are discontinued and now I am limited to the Iroks. The company here in Auburn I buy my stuff through are not fans of Interco tires and they say they are doing a favor not selling them to me haha.. but would you buy them again?
