on my 2002 f150 4.2 i had cat back duels no mufflers and 3 1/2 inch tips that are 22 inchs long.... and its got a deeper tone to it....and there out the back 45degrees on each side..... on my 08 4.2 i just had the muffler taken off and a piece of pipe put in... and it cackles alot and you can really get alot of sound out of it thru the rpm range.... i think they sound good but they dont sound like a v8... the 02 with duels has a closer to v8 sound... sorry about the late response i dont get on here much anymore

I really like my exhaust. I get quite a few compliments on it. I get lots of compliants too, so if you live in a very quiet neighbor hood I would avoid Flow 40's. Maybe get a quieter system. Makes the V6 sound good.
